Welcome to Historic Crown Hill Cemetery
Historic Crown Hill Cemetery, located in Pasadena Texas, was established in 1906 with the burial of Payson Pomeroy. Historic Crown Hill Cemetery is located North of Highway 225 on Richey Street near the site of the historic Vince's Bridge, whose destruction is believed lead to the capture of Santa Anna following the Battle of San Jacinto, final battle of the Texas Revolution.

HIGHLIGHTING THE CEMETERY

It was a great opportunity to highlight Historic Crown Hill Cemetery as Board President Mike Murphey spoke to a networking luncheon at Papa Yolk's Grill.

Mike also presented historical facts, yearly events, and cemetery needs to City Council and other community leaders. Attendees included Mayor Jeff Wagner and First Lady Ginny Ginn-Wagner, both lifetime members of the Crown Hill Cemetery Association.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Working volunteers give up their valuable time to help keep this cemetery as a Historic resting place for these gallant people. Hundreds of man-hours are spent each year with the task of mowing grass, documenting names of burial plots, and repairing the many damaged headstones. With your help we can continue this effort of maintaining the Historic Crown Hill Cemetery as a place where families will come to visit their loved ones and remember the past lives of Pasadena, Texas.
