Welcome to Historic Crown Hill Cemetery
Historic Crown Hill Cemetery, located in Pasadena Texas, was established in 1906 with the burial of Payson Pomeroy. Historic Crown Hill Cemetery is located North of Highway 225 on Richey Street near the site of the historic Vince's Bridge, whose destruction is believed lead to the capture of Santa Anna following the Battle of San Jacinto, final battle of the Texas Revolution.
What a great day at the cemetery! Representatives from Habitat for Humanity, Dobie Key Club, Kiwanis Club, Cub Scout Pack 488, and Troop 446 were here to spruce things up. Many things were accomplished including planting flowers, spreading mulch, cleaning crosses, replacing worn flags, cutting and picking up branches, and dispensing ant bait. Thank you so very much for all that was done. Thanks also to all the extra kiddos we had from our families. Beautiful day and fun times!
Working volunteers give up their valuable time to help keep this cemetery as a Historic resting place for these gallant people. Hundreds of man-hours are spent each year with the task of mowing grass, documenting names of burial plots, and repairing the many damaged headstones. With your help we can continue this effort of maintaining the Historic Crown Hill Cemetery as a place where families will come to visit their loved ones and remember the past lives of Pasadena, Texas.
